Last of Us Part I was smashed, the developer apologized!

Acknowledging the problems, the developer apologized and released a quick update for the game.

The game, which was released on March 28, caused errors such as crashes, poor performance and suspended characters in many players.

Naughty Dog acknowledged these issues and released an update to fix some of them. It was stated that the most reported bugs within the scope of the first package were fixed. However, it is scheduled to release a much larger patch later in the week. .

The PC version of the game included various features that would improve the graphics quality, such as FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.2 and Nvidia DLSS support. But first impressions showed it to have even worse graphics quality than the PS4.

In the first update for The Last of Us Part I PC ( version 1.0.1.6) stated that the following bugs have been fixed:

  • Reduced cache size to reduce memory requirements and minimize “Out of Memory” crashes
  • Added additional diagnostics for developer tracking purposes
  • Increased animation stream memory to improve performance during gameplay and movies
  • Fix for black screen on first boot
